About Me

Born into a practising Muslim household, I am passionate about Islam and its appeal for reasonable living. Here are my considered views

I am from India, now raising my family in Australia, Sydney. My views gets influenced by my inclusive Desi culture

By trade, I am a family physician – a man of science. Wholesome development of a human being is my core professional value, which has a profound impact on the views I chanced upon

Limitations

I do not hold a degree on theology, philosophy or history. My understanding of these subjects hue my inference

I am passionate about Islam, though dialectics remain my approach to finding solutions. I am perfectly happy for other religions to find their truths, in the development of human capacity, resilience and joy

I cannot profess to have all answers. Relevant scholars and lay, of all persuasions, may engage to their capacities; their wonder and discovery will be my contentment and joy

Why

In general, I am disappointed in religions (the sacred), and their cautious approach to modernity

I am also disappointed in many politicians (the secular) who seems to be stumbling from one crisis to another

I acknowledge many are working at this harmony, and I pray that my work adds to their hard yards for human progress.

How

The idea is to understand, respect and cater to human senses while connecting them to the magic of metaphysics (in my case, Islam)

All under the embrace of reason

Aim

I am convinced, I am destined to disappoint the past and future friends, at least initially

Then wonderment and nature will take over, with joy of multiple possibilities

Imagine your discoveries

A new world await for

  • The scientist in us, to work with our sensibilities
  • And ritual and emotions, to work with our reason

The only limit is the extent of our imagination
